Store Sales: For store news and subscriber coupons, please ask to be on my mailing list - here's the link to contact methods, so you can send me your email address. I will announce our April store special here in due time. New from AccuQuilt - Three new dies, Western Medley; Camper; and Nautical medley. These are great new dies, and are in stock. AccuQuilt specials - GoMe's, regularly priced at $99.99, are $49.98 until my current limited stock is gone. These are what used to be called the Baby GOes, and they have been discontinued by AccuQuilt. There will be other AccuQuilt specials throughout the month. My GO! Cutter Club usually meets on the first Tuesday and the first Saturday of each month. April's events have been cancelled. For new AccuQuilt specials, you can check the AccuQuilt web site; I honor the specials they list: accuquilt.com/special-offers.html AccuQuilt specials change frequently. You are welcome to give the store a call to see what they are. Often, I can only tell you what that week's special is, one week at a time. I do the same specials AccuQuilt offers, but you get our personal service. News: As of 03/18/2020: Due to the pandemic, the store is temporarily closed to shoppers. I am hoping this will only be for a month or two at the most. We are in the process of getting our fabrics on-line so that you can continue to shop "virtually". The Catalog pages are the place to look, to see our beautiful fabric (and more) inventory. Posting all our fabrics will take us a bit of time, as we only have a "tiny" amount of fabric (about 5,000 bolts.) In fact, we just got in some new Shannon Cuddle fabrics, including some of the wildlife panels and kits. I will be here at the store, most days, from 10am to 4pm, so I invite you to call in an order. We will continue to have the AccuQuilt GO! Cutters in stock, as well as the new dies coming out. We will be glad to ship, or arrange for pick-ups at the store. We will also continue to run our usual fabric specials and will provide free shipping for orders over $100.00. I hope you will continue to let us fill your fabric needs. Please be patient, while we undertake the major task of getting the fabric on line. Expect new posts every few days for a while! Please call for personal assistance with your questions and order. 2020 Quilt retreats - April's retreats have been cancelled, and refunds offered. Quilt retreats for October are full. If you would like to attend one of October's retreats, let me know and I will put you on a waiting list. Dates of the retreats are October 1, 2, 3 and 4; October 15, 16, 17, 18; and October 23, 24, 25, 26. Each retreat will include three nights at the Barnsion, three breakfasts, two evening meals, games, prizes, and at least one kit for a small project. You will also have access to the AccuQuilt electric cutter and dies. Retreat cost is $250.00. My quilt retreats are held at The Barnsion, five miles east of Harlowton. It's a wonderful facility, with bedding and towels furnished. 2020's quilt retreats are three evenings; come in on Thursday, leave on Sunday. I like to keep the retreats small with a maximum of 15. These are "sew on your own" projects; you should bring whatever you want to sew, although I try to have a fun new project that you can make and take home. Classes and Events: Sorry, all gatherings have been cancelled in April. Stay tuned for my revised class schedule. When we resume classes, please call to sign up by the Wednesday preceding the class. If you think of any classes you might be interested in taking, please make suggestions. Any questions, please give me a call. - Diana |
Saturday classes are all day classes starting at 9:30 a.m. and running until 4:30 p.m. |

One Block Wonder: A One Block Wonder quilt is based on 6 layers of fabric with a 24 inch repeat. Quilt pieces are cut with a similar technique to those of a Stack and Whack quilt, but the blocks are sewn together differently. Example quilts on this website are #6-1052, #6-1309, and #6-1335. This class may be covered on two Saturdays. If needed, the second Saturday's date and activities will be determined by what works for the students in the class. Needle Turn Applique: Needle turn applique is a hand applique technique. Learn needle turn applique with a small project that can be turned into a pillow, table center, or quilt section. Monday Club projects: |
Block Of The Month Club: In 2010, we tackled "The Farmer's Wife", a spectacular quilt made with six inch blocks. See a better picture here. Block of the Month was first offered on Monday nights in 2010, was back by popular demand in 2012 - again in 2013 - and again in 2014. |
GoGo Club: Come in and play with the GO! Cutter and dies. Quilts on this website made with the GO! Cutter are the Bugs quilt #6-1066, this geometric quilt #6-1067, and the rag quilt #6-1024. GoGo Club was a Monday night club in 2010. |
Progressive Quilt: There is no pattern for the progressive quilt - each person creates a quilt center from good quality 100% cotton fabric, and passes the started quilt on to another group member, who adds the next section, and so on. When a quilt has been completed, with care from everyone in the group, it returns to the person who started it to keep. There's a better picture of this quilt in the Gallery. The Progressive Quilt was a Monday night club in 2011. |
