HELP ME HELP YOU It would help me to have advance notification if you have a group of 4 or more. (406-632-4861) Even though I have help now, it would still be useful to know ahead of time, so there are two of us here. The store has been completely rearranged. Sonja has done an amazing job with it. WHAT'S NEW? Because I know some of you prefer to use a credit card, we are changing our credit card policy. >>> We are dropping the extra 5% fee for the use of a credit card. <<< However, any purchase using cash or check that is over $100 will be entered in a ***drawing at the end of each month*** ...for something fun, maybe a gift certificate, a couple yards of fabric, a new notion, or a couple of patterns - as I said, something fun. I have been receiving notices from our suppliers regarding the uncertainty of tariffs. They, as well as our store, are doing our best to keep from raising prices. However, if things continue with the tariffs, we may have no choice but to raise prices. We will also start to see some items that are no longer available. Here, and on the New page are some photos of new fabrics. There is no discount on fabrics that are new to the store. Some of the manufacturers do limit how soon their fabrics can be put on sale. (As the fabrics pictured above are brand new, no discount applies to them.) SPECIALS - We still have lots of panels! We have 400 individual panels. With the exception of several new ones that arrived in March, April, May and June, regularly priced panels will be 40% off. Regularly priced fabrics will be 25% off. These are all minimum 1 yard cuts. Kits and precuts and sewing notions over $10.00 are 25% off. Books and patterns are not included in the discounts, unless they are in the 1/2 price basket. We did place some kits at half price. Any fabric with a "New" tag pinned to it will not be included in the discount. Please note (see above) that we are eliminating the extra credit card fee. Sale fabrics for July will be... 1 to 5 yards priced at $7.00 a yard; 5+ to 10 yards will be $6.00 a yard; 10+ yards and up will be $5.00 a yard. Sale panels are 1/2 off, or 3 for $15.00; Patterns in the half price basket are 1/2 off or 3 for $15.00; McKenna Ryan patterns are 1/2 price or 3 for $12.00. All Judy Niemeyer patterns are 1/2 price. AccuQuilt specials - Ask about these. New dies are issued every month. We will match any special AccuQuilt is offering. You can schedule a demo for the GO! Cutters and see if these are a good fit for you. They provide very accurate cutting, and less strain on neck and shoulders. There is a new AccuQuilt "Trade Up" program. If you already own a GO! Baby or the regular GO! and want to trade for a bigger or electric one - ask me for details. The die catchers for the GO! Big are here. These attach to your machine and catch your dies as they come through. It is so nice not to have to "catch" the die as it comes through. If you want to schedule a "test drive", we conveniently have some table runner kits for $25.00 that you can practice on and take home to finish. The new die in June was a cactus die. It would make an adorable summer table runner. The 16 inch finished block size Qube has arrived. (There was another AccuQuilt price increase June 1st.) There is a new 2 1/2 inch strip die. This one is 10 inches long, which makes it better for cutting scraps. For store news and subscriber coupons, please ask to be on my mailing list - here's the link to contact methods, so you can send me your email address. NEWS Quilt Retreats for 2025 - Each retreat features fun days and three nights at the Barnsion, outside of Harlowton. A retreat starts on Thursday, and ends on Sunday. Towels and bedding are provided. Enjoy my continental breakfasts and evening meals on Friday and Saturday, then a full breakfast on Sunday. For more details, give me a call. The retreat price is $275.00, covering the cost of the facility and the cost of food for the meals that I provide - and a little project. The October 2025 retreats are October 9 - 12 and October 16 - 19. These dates are completely full at this time, but you can be placed on a waiting list. I will be sending out an email to those who are signed up in the next two weeks, so will know if there are any openings shortly. >>> 2026 quilt retreats are now available <<< 2026 quilt retreat dates are: April 16 - 19 has a waiting list; April 23 - 26 also has a waiting list; October 8 - 11 and October 15 - 18 have openings. Join the sewing fun at Diana's Quilts-n-Things! My quilting groups are friendly gatherings where you can concentrate, share, work, and learn. My store has special equipment and work space for quilters to use, and lots of materials and patterns. Come on in to work on your projects - where everything you need is at hand, including new techniques and experienced advice. PREPARATIONS: If a club or class member is bringing a guest, or if you want to attend a single session, or if you are a class subscriber and want to switch Saturdays, please contact Diana beforehand. 12 Months of Holidays: In 2014, we sewed the 12 Months of Christmas, completing easy Christmas projects including a Christmas stocking, themed wall hangings, coasters, table centers and table mats, and a mug rug. In 2015, we sewed 12 Months of Holidays. This included a different project each month and many different techniques. Kits for the projects were priced at 25% off. These quick and easy projects help you decorate for holidays, and make seasonal gifts. To attend for a specific project, pay a class fee, plus the cost of the kit. January featured a Valentine's Day wall hanging, using reverse applique. February featured a Easter project. March featured a Spring project. April featured a Paper Pieced table runner for Mother's Day. May featured a Tumbler block flag for July. August featured a "stained glass" table runner. September featured a turkey placemat. October featured An American In Paris table runner. This Saturday activity runs all day, starting at 9:30 a.m. |

Sew Saturday: Sew Saturday is sewing quilts to donate for charity fund raisers. Some quilts will be going to the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, some to Special K Ranch in Columbus, some to A Safe Place in Helena, which is for Military women suffering from Post Traumatic Stress, and others where ever else we feel they can be used. All hands are welcome, no fee, potluck. If you can, please let me know by the day before, if you would like to participate. Fabric donations are welcome! To keep up our stamina, each Sew Saturday will feature a pot luck lunch. 1st Saturday of each month in 2017, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. |

UFO Club: Work on those UnFinished Objects. Actual progress. What could be better? In 2019, our first meeting was in February. In 2018 and 2017 we met on the 3rd Saturday of each odd month (January, March, May, July, September, November). |

One Block Wonder: A One Block Wonder quilt is based on 6 layers of fabric with a 24 inch repeat. Quilt pieces are cut with a similar technique to those of a Stack and Whack quilt, but the blocks are sewn together differently. Example quilts on this website are #6-1052, #6-1309, and #6-1335. This class may be covered on two Saturdays. If needed, the second Saturday's date and activities will be determined by what works for the students in the class. Needle Turn Applique: Needle turn applique is a hand applique technique. Learn needle turn applique with a small project that can be turned into a pillow, table center, or quilt section. Block Of The Month Club: In 2010, we tackled "The Farmer's Wife", a spectacular quilt made with six inch blocks. See a better picture here. Block of the Month was first offered on Monday nights in 2010, was back by popular demand in 2012 - again in 2013 - and again in 2014. |

GoGo Club: Come in and play with the GO! Cutter and dies.  Quilts on this website made with the GO! Cutter are the Bugs quilt #6-1066, this geometric quilt #6-1067, and the rag quilt #6-1024. GoGo Club was a Monday night club in 2010. |

Progressive Quilt: There is no pattern for the progressive quilt - each person creates a quilt center from good quality 100% cotton fabric, and passes the started quilt on to another group member, who adds the next section, and so on. When a quilt has been completed, with care from everyone in the group, it returns to the person who started it to keep. There's a better picture of this quilt in the Gallery. The Progressive Quilt was a Monday night club in 2011. |

Seasonal Club: We enjoy making small projects related to the seasons. Wall hangings, table runners, and other fun fabric art items make it easy to dress up our homes. The Seasonal Club was a Monday night club in 2012. |
